Data Entry/Receptionist Floater

Responsibilities

  1. Answer multi-line telephone, taking messages and sending calls to voicemail as appropriate with no more than 5% of the calls lasting 4 minutes or longer.
  2. Notify clinical staff of persons arriving for appointments.
  3. Make reminder calls.
  4. Greet clients and schedule appointments.
  5. Accept payments and write receipts for payments received at the front desk.
  6. Track required information.
  7. Place postage on outgoing U.S. mail.
  8. Distribute inter-office and U.S. mail.
  9. Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate person.
  10. Reschedule appointments as necessary.
  11. Prepare, compile, and sort information for data entry.
  12. Enter data into required systems within assigned timelines and requirements of the CCBHC model (e.g., NOMS data will be entered into the SPARS system).
  13. Perform high volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.
  14. Verify integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.
  15. Review data for errors or missing information and resolve any discrepancies.
  16. Maintain a filing system, protecting confidential information.
  17. Track required information.
  18. Type correspondence, memos, forms, reports, tables, etc. as needed by CCBHC staff.
  19. Take minutes for meetings and committees.
  20. Provide back-up and assistance to other support staff.
  21. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High school education or above; minimum typing of 60 wpm; Windows/Microsoft Word and Excel; spreadsheet and database skills.  Desirable personal traits include dependability, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, ability to maintain flexibility in work assignments, positive interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. This position requires extensive computer work, the ability to sit for long periods of time to complete data entry, and the ability to lift at least twenty-five pounds. Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and KDADS Adult/Child Abuse Registries.

Salary Range

$13.24 – $18.33 – $23.44

Monday -Friday, 8am – 5pm
