Data Analyst

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will develop analysis and reporting capabilities.  They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Job Requirements

Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst preferably in a health care setting.  Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.  Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).  Experience with SQL in a relational database environment including skills in SQL programming language with the ability to code highly complex SQL.  Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc).  Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.  Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.  Experience working in cross-functional teams across organizations.  Bachelors in Mathematics, Actuarial, Data Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field preferred but not required.  Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.  Thorough knowledge of PC, client/server, and network environments.  Customer service skills with strong relationship management skills with the ability to interact positively and successfully with all levels of staff and management.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, and sit.  Extensive computer and telephone work is required so the ability to operate a computer for up to 90% of the shift is required.  The employee is frequently required to lift up to 10 pounds.  The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Salary Range

$72,506 – $84,153 – $88,349

Hours

Monday – Friday, 8-5pm
