Responsibilities

Hours will be in response to client need, which includes day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. The essential function of this position is for managing the direct and indirect service activities of the Mental Health Technicians.  This position provides direct service as back up in the event that a Mental Health Technician on the team is unavailable or needs additional support.

Job Requirements

This position requires a BA/BS degree in Human Services or equivalent experience OR A Master’s degree in Psychology (LMLP or LCP), Counseling (LPC, LCPC), or Social Work (LMSW, LSCSW) and two (2) years post degree experience in the mental health field with experience assessing and diagnosing mental health disorders is preferred. Must have current Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board license.  Eligibility of Title XIX reimbursement is required.  Relevant experience is desirable and may be required, depending on the Center’s needs. Supervisory experience required. In addition, the individual must be able to pass a KBI security check and KDADS Child and Adult Abuse Registry check. Must have reliable transportation with auto insurance required. This position requires knowledge of basic computer skills. Must be able to complete required WSU online trainings and program trainings. This position requires excellent organizational skills; the ability to be responsible and work independently; the ability to maintain flexibility and dependability in work schedule; positive interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.  Must be able to perform day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including but not limited to- 40% of scheduled time; data entry, answering the phone and computer work, 60% of scheduled time; ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequently moving around the building and community, repetitive moving, carrying and lifting as the job demands, as well as the ability to work on-call day, evening, night, or weekend shifts based on the needs of the program.

Salary Range

BA: $50,086 – $64,100
MA: $63,008- $75,610

Monday-Friday, 3rd shift, On-Call Required
