Providing Mental Health & Substance Use Recovery Services Since 1967
Since 1967, Valeo Behavioral Health Care has served the Topeka and Shawnee County area and has been the designated mental health authority for Shawnee County. Throughout the years, our services have expanded and evolved to better suit our persons served needs.
“Valeo” is Latin, meaning “to be well.” Our Community understands that mental health is essential to overall health. Treatment benefits the individual, family, public health, safety, and community resources.
Our vision is to keep behavioral health care person served driven, to close the gap on mental health needs and services offered, and provide early screening for mental health and substance use disorders.
At Valeo, we serve the mental health and addiction needs of all adults in the Shawnee County community. We’re equipped and experienced in delivering a full range of services to treat the most complex mental health issues. We offer 24-Hour crisis services and 29 programs among nine locations. Together we build a safer, healthier community.
